Mariam Kriener was born to a Palestinian father and German mother in Berlin. At ten years of age, she performed live, accompanied by guitar which she played herself. Performed in gospel choirs and developed the incredible blend of Soul, gospel and R&B singing which is her trade mark today. When she was 16 years old, she formed a band appropriately called the “CON SOUL IDATION”. It was during this period that she fine-tuned her voice to its present state of sensibility. Performances at the prestige jazz club “QUASIMODO” in Berlin established her reputation as an insider tip. Soon followed guest performances, with Queen Jahna’s “GOSPEL LOVE CHOIR” , the “MOTHER LUV BAND” from Hollywood, ”GOLDEN GOSPEL PEARLS”. She performs regularly with her band throughout Germany and will be on tour with Jonas Hammond and an all star cast of musicians in spring 2007.
